In 1947, a new country came into existence --- Pakistan. A country meant to be for equality, fairness, welfare, safety, and peace. Today this country is crippled with corruption, inflation, economic failures, no rule of law, feudal system, terrorism, exploitation - the state is in crisis! Over 60 years there have been military dictatorships and civil governments. Both these ways have led the country to disaster. In 1947 there was a nation without a state and today there is a state without a nation.

The question is: what has led us to this disaster?

Answer: It is because of a corrupt political mafia holding a monopoly over the political system which delivers nothing except corruption & incompetent governance. Millions of rupees are poured into election campaigns against the prescribed limit because it is seen as an investment not for the sake of the nation but for personal gains.

Why can only less than 1% population even dream of contesting elections? Why can't decent educated people such as doctors, lawyers, engineers, journalists participate in elections? Why are elections rigged so no decent person can enter the corridors of power? In 2013, again there will be so-called "elections" which will again bring no change because they are all the same faces. The political & electoral system suits this political mafia & elite.
