PAT
leader Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri has expressed his deep sense of grief and sorrow on the
loss of precious lives in a fire incident in Anarkali in Lahore on Monday. He has
called for a probe into the incident asking as to why the fire that erupted in one
of the busiest markets of the provincial capital could not be controlled on time.
He noted that about eight to ten thousands fire incidents take place annually in
Punjab only, adding that no system has been put in place to deal with such disasters.
He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed souls in peace and give patience
to the bereaved families to bear the loss of their near and dear ones. He also prayed
for early recovery of the injured.
