Recovery of Owais Shah owed to Operation Zarb-e-Azb: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri

PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that recovery of Owais Shah, the abducted son of SHC Chief Justice after recovery of the son of the former Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani is the fruit of Operation Zarb-e-Azb. He said that the safe havens of terrorists are being destroyed one after the one across the country including South Waziristan due to Operation Zarb-e-Azb. He said that police and other law enforcement agencies under the administrative control of the provinces will have to improve their performance so that people’s shattered confidence in these institutions is restored.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that had all provisions of the National Action Plan been implemented in letter and spirit without any discrimination, the situation would have improved manifold. He said that recovery of the son of the SHC CJ after Syed Ali Haider Gilani is an appreciable work of the security forces.

The PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri expressed these views while talking to senior leaders of PAT. He said that important decisions are being taken in Raiwind instead of Parliament. He said that the NAP cannot be implemented fully in the presence of the current rulers. He said that successes against terrorism we see around are owed to the sacrifices of the armed forces. He said that the rulers have turned the peaceful country into nursery of terrorism due to their incompetence. He said that the rulers are only interested in perpetuating the interests of their generations.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri warned that if justice system and good governance could not be established, the fruits of Operation Zarb-e-Azb would not be able to stay intact for long. He said that had armed forces not decided to take on terrorism, the country’s security would have been compromised.
