PAT Chairman Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has condemned Bedian road suicide attack in the strongest words and asked how long the nation would continue to carry the dead bodies of their sons. He asked as to who is creating hurdles in the way of launching military operation in Punjab and why the nation is misguided again and again by issuing misstatement. He said that until military operation is launched in Punjab, terrorists would continue to wreak havoc on the nation. He said that terrorists had conveyed the message through launching attack in the most sensitive areas that they were free to carry out their nefarious designs and nothing can stop them.

Dr Qadri said that he was deeply grieved over the martyrdom of security personnel and civilians and warned that terrorism could not be eradicated through mere issuance of statement of condemnation and expression of vows. To achieve this task, we have to launch military operation in Punjab similar to the operation launched in South Waziristan. Ultimately we have to utilize all of our resources, power and expedite the decision making to get rid of the menace of terrorism.

The PAT Chairman said that we suffered more than a dozen attacks in the current year in which Para Chanar, Punjab Assembly, Peshawar, Mohmand, Dargah Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, Awaran, Charsadda, Shabqadar, and Defense, Lahore attacks were particularly gruesome in which hundreds of lives were lost and thousands of people were injured. He said that every attack is followed by a traditional statement in which our rulers vow to implement the NAP rigorously and the next day they forget everything. He prayed for the early recovery of the injured of the Bedian attack.
