LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehrik Chief Tahir-ul-Qadri Sunday said that the current parliament came into being in violation of articles 213 and 218 of the constitution, adding that it is now an obligation for the people to terminate the current government and the system.

Addressed participants of rallies in various cities through video link, Qadri said the administrative structure of the country needs a complete revamp. He said ‘Raiwind palace’ will not be able to defend their corruption as flow of people will cleanse everything.

Qadri said he wants to rid the masses of ‘political dictatorship’, adding that if current rulers continued to rule, people will resort to suicides.

He said people have given verdict in favour of revolution. He invited all political parties to join his movement. He said he will announce the final call soon.
