*Qadri announces to launch movement in June *Shujaat to contact political, religious parties to muster support

LONDON: The Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) on Saturday agreed on a 10-piont agenda to bring ‘revolutionary reforms’ in the governance system of the country.

PAT leader Dr Tahir ul Qadri and PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain inked the declaration at a press conference in London.

Speaking on this occasion, Qadri said the current political and administrative system has failed in solving the public problems. He announced that he would return to Pakistan in June to launch the movement for implementation of his agenda.

He said that Chaudhry Shujaat would contact political and religious parties and key figures to muster support for grand political alliance against the government.

The declaration states: PAT and PMLQ have agreed to transfer the power to the grassroots level. The current outdated system has failed to provide rights to people. The present government was established through an unconstitutional election commission.

Shujaat said Qadri has vision and passion for the poor people of Pakistan. Corruption would be put to an end and the nation would get its constitutional rights, he said.

PML-Q leader Pervaiz Elahi said that his party and PAT have agreed that will launch joints efforts to get the agenda implemented in true letter and spirit. “It’s the reform agenda, which will bring progress,” he said.

Elahi said that their movement is for the betterment of common man. Pervaiz Elahi said the PML-N government was raring to ‘wage a war’ against the army as the ministers have launched a tirade against it. He warned that the country could be harmed if the parties loyal to it did not unite.
