PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) government has decided to include Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri books in the curriculum of universities across the province in order to laud his services.
KPK government released direction to all universities for adding specific books in their libraries written by Tehreek Minhaj-ul-Quran’s chairman Tahir ul Qadri, local newspaper reported.
According to the reports, special circular had been released to 19 universities of KPK by the government having directions for updation of libraries with the scholar’s books.
The reports quoted some sources that Dr. Qadri’s citations will be included in the curriculum especially on topics related to biography of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Jihad.
Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri is founding chairman of Tehreek Minhaj-ul-Quran and also the chief of the political party Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT).
Qadri also provided his services as former professor of international constitutional law at the University of Punjab and also known as influential Sufi Islamic scholar in Pakistan.
