Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of PAT Federal Council, has said that steeped as they are in extreme poverty and destitution, the poor are dying of hunger while the educated youth are compelled to burn their degrees. He said that the situation continues to become grimmer by the day due to current electoral and political system. He said that the ruling elite was compromising on national interest, adding there was an impression that the terrorists were being exported. He said that it was responsibility of the PAT workers in these circumstances to inculcate the passion for revolution in their being and actions in such a manner that they became embodiment of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri.
Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri expressed these views while addressing Workers Convention held under the banner of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (Lahore chapter) in Township. Central President PAT Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz, Muhammad Irshad Tahir, Hafiz Ghulam Farid, Chaudhry Afzal Gujjar, Altaf Shah Gilani, Ghulam Rabbani Tamour, and Dr Ghulam Murtaza Alvi were also present at the occasion.
Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that Pakistan Awami Tehreek was working hard to bring about revolution and raise awareness regarding human rights as enshrined in the Constitution under the leadership of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri. He said that following the Azan for prayer symbolized by mammoth public meeting on December 22, 2013 and the Islamabad Long March, a prayer of revolution consisting of 10 million Namazis were likely to be established in near future. He asked the workers to work even harder to convey the message of peaceful change in every nook and corner of the country. He said that the people’s show of power would force the ruling elite to return the usurped rights of the masses.
Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that only the leadership of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri could bring about revolution to support the oppressed people. He asked the workers to remain focused on their destination with complete dedication and commitment. He said that a place where darkness of usurped rights held sway, it was left only to the revolutionary workers to replace this darkness with light.
While speaking at the occasion, President of PAT Lahore Irshad Ahmad Tahir announced to launch mass contact campaign from April 5. Hafiz Ghulam Farid, General Secretary of PAT Lahore, said that the people dying of hunger did not need roads, but food and security of life and honour. He said that the powers that be who raised tall claims to address raging problems had failed miserably to overcome any of the issues of public importance. He asked the people to support Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri to get rid of terrorism, unemployment, inflation, unemployment and corruption.
