Lahore: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri on Saturday lashed out at present rulers for failing to stop bloodshed in the country and termed them as ‘political face of terrorists’.

Addressing to party activists at Minhaj-ul-Quran Institute here via video-link, Dr. Qadri said the present rulers were brought into power by the terrorists who kept other forces away from election process by threatening them.

He said also accused rulers of using terrorists as their private army and said they are swiftly heading towards never-ending conclusion of their politics and power.

Regarding former president General (retd) Pervez Musharraf’s treason trial, PAT chief said it should start from 12th October 1999 instead of 3rd November 2007 and all of those involved in violating the constitution should be brought in the dock.

Tahir-ul-Qadri also announced to hold mass demonstrations across the country against last year’s general elections on May 11.
