LAHORE: Chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), Dr Tahir ul Qadri has said that a peaceful revolution is sure to come, while he added that PAT will not get the investigations of Model Town massacre done by the murderers, nor will it become part of the probe – ARY News reports.
During his meeting with the journalists, Tahir ul Qadri vowed not to make any compromise on the revolution and to lead forth the struggle for the rights of the people.
He added that neither any demands will be laid, nor will any talks be held, for his revolution only seeks the implementation of first 40 articles of the constitution of Pakistan.
The PAT Chief said that our agenda is not that of ‘four constituencies’, it is rather concerned about the 20 crore people of Pakistan. He said that the agreement, on which the constitution was formed, has been broken and the revolution will be the new social contract.
On the other hand, Qadri declined to become a part of the investigations of Model Town massacre. He stated that Punjab Police brutally killed 16 workers of Minhaj ul Quran and its investigations cannot be trusted.
The PAT Chief said that his organization will not become the part of the probe by the murderers themselves.
Earlier, the IG Punjab Police had written a letter to the PAT Chief, requesting him to cooperate in the investigations of the tragic incident.
