LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan Awami Tehreek Dr. Tahirul Qadri on Friday declared the Punjab government ‘state terrorist’ and accused them of obstructing PAT workers and supporters to join the long march, ARY News reported.
Talking to media here, Dr. Qadri said the government had turned Model Town into Gaza. He said not even a single constable of government was present to provide people security.
“If Imran Khan or any other compromise on their demands, then you people should come to me to take forward the revolution mission,” Dr. Qadri told his supporters.
After revolution, he said, Sharif brothers would be required to answer each and everything on their misdeeds.
Our workers are unarmed, how we could retaliate to terrorism backed by the government, he added.
The PAT chief said leaders would have to tell nation about each looted penny.
Leaders have made the country battlefield. Punjab has virtually been turned into a jail. Wherever PAT workers are found, they are being arrested, he said.
Dr. Qadri asked workers to run over all impediments and join the march. All roads leading to Punjab have been closed, said the PAT chief, adding containers had been placed at all four sides of the Model Town to confine PAT workers.
