LAHORE: Chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), Dr Tahirul Qadri has directed his party workers to observe the Day of Martyrs in their respective cities, while the focal ceremony will be held there in Model Town, ARY News reported.
Dr Tahirul Qadri while directing his followers not to arrive in Lahore, asked them to observe the Day of Martyrs in their respective cities. He said the government set a new example of brutality yesterday, while the Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif issued direct orders to police to shoot down innocent PAT workers.
The PAT chief said the grand program of the Youm-e-Shuhada will be held at the Minhaj ul Quran Secretariat, during which PAT’s future strategy will be announced.
He claimed that police has arrested some 15-20 thousand workers, while hundreds of injured are not being allowed to go for medical treatment.
Moreover, Qadri said that Sharif brothers want to burn the entire country; humanity has been disgraced in the state and inquired why the state institutions are being quiet over such oppression.
