Lahore – Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) leader Dr Tahirul Qadri has announced to initiate ‘Inqelab March’ (revolution march) towards Islamabad from Model Town, soon after Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan launched his Azadi March from Zaman Park.
Speaking to a media outside Minhajul Quran in Model Town, PAT chief said the goal of his march is the to alleviate poverty, restore real democracy and give the constitutional and democratic rights to the oppressed of the country. He said the revolution will come in Pakistan with the help of Allah Almighty and struggle of masses.
Further unveiling his revolution goals, he said people will be provided with their social rights and those plundered the public wealth would be held accountable. He said revolution will eradicate terrorism and extremism from the country and ensure protection of the rights of women and minorities.
He described electoral reforms one of the main goals of revolution and said that there is no chance of military coup in the country.
