Qadri denies deal with govt for march permission

LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) leader Dr. Tahir ul Qadri dispelled the impression that removal of containers was a result of any deal with government.

In an exclusive chat with SAMAA today, Qadri said that long march would not be called off at any cost.

“We have taken to streets for a peaceful democratic march,” he said.

Qadri maintained that Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Lahore administration did not cooperate with the PAT.

“I congratulate Altaf Hussain for his efforts for mediation,” he said, but added that rulers demonstrated complete stubbornness.

Responding to a question, he admitted his desire for a combined march between PTI and PAT.

“I wish Imran Khan and his march best of luck and I pray his Azadi March remains successful,” he added. – SAMAA
