Dr. Qadri sees Thursday showers as sign of victory

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri on Friday said the lashing rain in late Thursday hours was a bellwether of victory from God for the participants of Inqilab March.

Addressing the immense crowd of Inqilab March in front of Parliament House, he urged the demonstrators to remain smiling, though they have been out of their houses and on foot from August 1, scrambling for the rights of the poor.

“The rainfall during the night preceding Friday, is a God’s message of good news for the marchers. Hence, we will hold pre-victory celebrations tonight with the remembrance of God and His prophet (peace be upon him),” he added.

‘Keep smile on your faces and be spirited. Do not lose heart as God has shown his sign of victory through Thursday's downpour,” he exhorted on his followers asserting the throne that was laid on injustices and evil-doings, is bound to be overthrown before long.

The PAT chief remarked the marchers hit the roads to wage a war exclusively to change the destiny of the downtrodden and the oppressed, adding the win of the protesters is not quite far away.

Referring to the statement of Defence Minister, who said marchers were spawning bad odor around the Parliament House, the PAT Chief said all the marchers were pious, innocent, peaceful and rightful and that the marchers' struggle for the poor, had unleashed a tantalizing and pleasurable scent around the country.

Lashing out at the minister, he said the stink that is spreading across the country, had actually been caused by the rulers' own all-pervasive corruption.

The corrupt people, from chief ministers to the Prime Minister, are shuddering with fear, sensing that their future is about to go bleak.

Addressing the rulers, he called out, “O cowards, be primed to pack up as your downfall is nearer than imminent.” He also called upon the authorities of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to put the names of all the corrupt rulers on exit control list, warning if any of the corrupt rulers flees abroad, the FIA officials will be held accountable for the culpable offence. –SAMAA
