ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) has suspended its talks with the government, which were continued for past several days, ARY News reported.
According to details, PAT, along with other allied parties, suspended talks as a sign of protest, over the arrests of workers being made by the government.
PAT leaders and government delegates were holding talks for more than a week, in order to resolve the persisting political crisis.
It was further reported that the police has arrested more than 200 workers of the protesting parties, during the last 24 hours.
Earlier to this, Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen (MWM) had announced not to continue negotiations with the government.
