ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Dr. Tahirul Qadri Saturday feared major crackdown against the protesters staging sit-in in the federal capital.
“The government is taking its last breaths,” Qadri said while talking to media atop his container in Islamabad.
He announced that dialogue with the government would not resume till the release of all arrested workers of the protesting parties.
The PAT chief said that his private guards that were hired from a private security company, Hataf, were also arrested for holding weapons.
Hataf security is a registered company. The guards of this company provided me security but they were arrested for having weapons which were legal, he said.
The guards have also been blamed for storming into Pakistan Television (PTV), he added. -Samaa
