ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) has decided to challenge the credibility of the present Parliament and the assemblies in the Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan, ARY News reported.
According to details, consultation is underway between the PAT leaders and a panel of legal experts, in order to challenge the credibility of the present Parliament and the assemblies in the Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan.
PAT leaders are of the view that the revelations pertaining to irregularities and rigging in elections made in the review report of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), has raised a question mark on the current Parliament.
They said that after these serious revelations, the existence of the present Parliament has also become doubtful.
It was further reported that the legal experts associated with Pakistan Awami Tehreek are also gathering documentary proofs pertaining to the rigging of General Elections 2013.
On the other hand, Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) are also struggling against the Nawaz-regime, by staging protest sit-ins in Islamabad and motivating the masses countrywide.
The sit-ins by the protesting parties are continued for the past 40 days and none of the two parties is agreed upon calling off the demonstrations, until the resignation of the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
