Samaa News: PTI, PAT wrote history of sit-ins: Siraj

ISLAMABAD: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) head Siraj ul Haq today praised Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) for creating a history by staging the longest ever sit-ins in the federal capital.

Speaking to media persons after meeting PAT leaders, Haq said all parties believe in democracy and constitution. “We want a honorable way-out for all parties,” he said.

He said that his party was against prolonging the existing political crisis, which could affect the constitution.

To a question, he believed that government still had lot of options to give to the protesting parties. “Crackdown on protestors cannot resolve this issue.”

The JI chief said that he want to bring a change through a political and constitutional struggle. – SAMAA
