ISLAMABAD: Dr. Tahirul Qadri, head Pakistan Awami Tehreek, has announced that he would visit every city of the country to expand his movement against the government after Eid, ARY News reported.
“We will now shake every city to voice support for the poor and downtrodden segment,” he said during his address to workers in Islamabad.
The PAT chief said the ‘oppressive’ system will soon be rooted out. Dr. Qadri said he would lay out his complete strategy of the protest tomorrow.
During his speech, PAT workers also burnt cotton in protest against what they described as cruel policies against the government for agriculture sector.
He claimed that crimes would be wiped out of the country once the revolution took place. He said why people should trust the prevailing system, which could not provide them justice.
Has the government ensured provision of education to the masses, he asked. A country cannot survive where there is no rule of law and justice, lamented Dr. Qadri.
