ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr. Tahirul Qadri has announced to hold sit-ins in other cities of Pakistan as well. He said that tones of the rulers have changed because of the pressure created by the sit-ins.
Addressing the sit-in today (Tuesday) in Islamabad, Tahirul Qadri said that he take his message to all the cities and villages of Pakistan and convince them to leave their homes and join the sit-ins.
Tahirul Qadri said that it was due to the pressure created by the sit-ins that forced Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to apologize from the people of Pakistan and PPP workers. “Opposition leader Khurshid Shah has also started to talk about mid-term elections”, said PAT chief. “Shahbaz Sharif says bloody revolution cannot be stopped if injustice kept prevailing”, said Qadri.
PAT chief said that he is the only one between the common people of Pakistan and a bloody revolution. He said that if he stepped aside, there would be no holds barred between the people of Pakistan and the rulers. Dr. Qadri said that so far the sit-ins are limited to Islamabad only. He said that when he will take the sit-ins to other cities, sit-ins will turn into a movement.
