Revolutionary movement entering its next phase today: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri

PAT leader Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that today’s public meeting in Faisalabad will herald the beginning of next phase of revolution. He said that 60 days have completed since revolution march began its journey, adding that the participants of the sit-in will stay put with steadfastness and success is their destiny. He said that the first journey of caravan of revolution is going to start today from Faisalabad, which will go through various cities and villages of Pakistan to awaken people. The public meeting will prove that the status quo forces cannot stay intact any longer because people are greatly aware of their rights now as a result of revolution march, he said.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri made these remarks while talking to media ahead of his departure for Faisalabad. He expressed his deep sense of grief and sorrow on the loss of precious lives in PTI public meeting in Qasim Bagh Multan. He said that the Multan tragedy is deplorable in which precious lives were lost.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri vowed to continue the fight for the rights of the poor till elimination of oppression and coercion. He announced that after public meeting in Faisalabad, he will visit flood-hit areas of Jhang and Chiniot and distribute relief goods there. He said that those people who could not come to sit-in due to their compulsions, he is himself going to them.

Ruling out any possibility of martial law in the country, Dr Qadri said that there was neither any fear of martial law in the past nor it is today. He made it clear that if at all martial law was imposed, it will not be due to PAT but actions of the rulers. He said that the last martial law was imposed due to Nawaz Sharif as well.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the whole nation and media will have to support him in fight against oppression. He made it clear that he is not the one who would leave this war and run away. He said that no power of the world can stop revolutionary movement from being successful. He said that purpose of revolution march is to demolish status quo, pull down idols of corruption and eliminate oppression that has continued for last 65 years. He further stated that public meeting in Faisalabad will prove that revolutionary sit-in will be successful and that status quo forces cannot stay any longer. He said that today revolution march and sit-in are entering their next phase successfully.
