No question of accepting blood money of martyrs: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri addresses participants of sit-in

PAT chief Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri has rejected every kind of rumour being spread by the government that sit-in is going to end soon. He said that we did not stage sit-on at the behest of anyone nor will we end it on the wishes of someone else. He said that it was our decision to hold sit-in and only we will decide when to end it and how. He said that no mother has given birth to a child who could make us end sit-in through stick or carrot. He further said that no one has courage to pay blood money directly or indirectly and make us end sit-in on the basis of money.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri expressed these views while addressing the participants of revolution march in front of Parliament House on Friday night after he returned from visit of flood affected areas of Jhang, Chiniot and Faisalabad.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that it has been a month since the government has been spreading such rumours. He made it clear that sit-in will not end. Rather, it will turn into a countrywide movement soon. He said that we only fear Allah and bow our heads before Him, adding that rulers are spreading misinformation about end of sit-in through blood money, which is baseless and pack of lies.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that he did not go to Jhang and Chiniot for public meetings. Rather the purpose of his visit was to meet flood victims and express sympathy with them but people of whole villages and towns locked their homes and came to welcome and meet him. He said that Revolution Jalsa at Minar-e-Pakistan on October 19 will prove to be flight of revolution, which would undermine the status quo. He said that he will announce future strategy regarding sit-in in public meeting in Lahore. He said that it is possible that sit-in may continue for one year or become a countrywide movement. He said that those spreading rumours about end of sit-in through blood money cannot even buy one of his shoes, what to speak of buying conscience. He said that when we came to Islamabad, revolution was desire of participants of march, adding that now it has become demand of the whole nation.
