Lahore supports PAT's Inqilab: says Qadri

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Dr Tahirul Qadri said Sunday that his party's show in Lahore today would decide that the people of the city are with him and want Inquilab (revolution).

Addressing his party workers here before leaving for Lahore, Qadri said that today's show will be a referendum in the favor of Inquilab.

He also said that that he will not make a secret deal with the government but will avenge the deaths of his supporters killed during the Model Town clashes on June 17.

PAT is all set to show its political force today at Minar-e-Pakistan, Lahore.

The PAT has set at least 70,000 chairs at the venue with the separate sitting arrangements for men and women. A high and spacious stage has been erected for the occasion.

The PAT workers said today’s public gathering will be a historic showing at Minar-e-Pakistan in the history of Pakistan.
