Samaa News: Quaid-e-Azam-ism will work in Pakistan now: Qadri

LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) head Allama Tahir ul Qadri on Sunday ruled out any deal with the government regarding Model Town tragedy.

“Whoever spread rumors that we will accept blood money and make a deal with govt, hear me! We will not accept blood money, the only option acceptable to us is Qisas (blood for blood). The issue of martyrs will end with Qisas.”

He began his speech by paying tribute to the martyrs of Model Town and to those who died at D-Chowk on 30th August.

The blood of the martyrs of the Islamabad sit-in and Model Town has woken up the nation, he said.

“'You gave nation the strength to stand up to oppression. You gave them the strength to sacrifice their comfort and set out to bring a revolution.”

Dr. Qadri said that police arrested so many PAT workers that they had no more handcuffs.

He quoted a news report saying that government had imported 50,000 shells of poisonous gas from India to use against participants of the sit-in.

Lahore is not PML-N's, it belongs to Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), it belongs to revolution, it belongs to a new system.

He said that safe drinking water was not provided by the government. He lamented that a foreign company was hired for collection of garbage from the city to make kickbacks and commission.

Unveiling his revolutionary agenda, he said that only Quaid-e-Azam-ism would work in Pakistan now.

“We need visionary leadership to turn Pakistan into a great nation. We need leadership, which could Pakistan a tower, which could put the country on the path of economic progress.”
