LAHORE: Chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri, on Tuesday warned the PML-N government that his party could open more fronts, Samaa reports.
Speaking to reporters in Lahore, Qadri claimed that several local leaders had been arrested by police in Punjab.
“If the government did not change its hostile attitude we will announce our new strategy and will open a more fronts against the rulers, we are not weak enough,” he warned.
Qadri announced that his party would celebrate Jashn-e-Bedari-e-Awam (celebrations of public awareness) in party’s protest camping in Islamabad this evening.
He said a decision regarding the sit-in would be announced today. – Samaa
