LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chairperson, Tahirul Qadri has arrived at the Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore on Thursday morning, Aaj News reported.
According to the sources, Qadri on October 28 left Pakistan to pay a visit to USA, Canada and UK, where he was supposed to meet the Pakistani leaders and members working in their support.
The sources also revealed that Tahirul Qadri before heading off to his home town, Model Town from the airport will pay a visit at Data Darbar.
Qadri to lead rally from airport to Data Darbar today
(BR REPORT) Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Dr Tahirul Qadri will lead a rally from Airport to Data Darbar after his arrival from London here on Thursday morning. Dr Qadri is returning home after visiting the UK, Canada and the US where he worked towards reorganising PAT’s overseas chapters. Party sources told Business Recorder that the rally would pass through Ring Road Harbunspura Interchange, Mughalpura, Dharmpura, Mall Road, Nasir Bagh, Bhatti Chowk and Data Darbar.
Qadri will offer prayers at the Darbar. They said that PAT Lahore chapter had made elaborate arrangements to accord a befitting reception to their leader. Meanwhile, Lahore Police has warned of security threat and informed the Minhajul Quran Secretariat that some anti-social elements might carryout terrorist attack during the rally of the PAT chief.
