BHAKKAR: Chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek Dr. Tahirul Qadri has said he was suffering heart ailment and doctors had advised him rest, ARY News reported Monday.
Speaking to media in Bhakkar after inaugurating a mosque, he said his party’s scheduled programs – sit-ins and protests – will continue as per plan despite heart problems.
“I had a hypertension yesterday that I could not even sleep the whole night,” he told.
The PAT chief said doctors had asked for immediate angiography in London and changed medicine for stroke treatment.
I came home despite serious warnings from the doctors to avoid any travel, he told, adding he had been suffering heart problem from 1982.
“After tomorrow’s jalsa I will have some time to rest,” he said.
