LAHORE: A delegation of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) headed by Jehangir Tareen visited the Minhajul Quran International Secretariat here on Wednesday and met the leaders of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), ARY News reported.
Talking to media after meeting PAT leaders, Jehangir Tareen said that Tehreek-i-Insaf and Awami Tehreek have mutual goals and both the parties will stand united in their struggle.
He said that his party will continue to strive until the investigations of electoral rigging are not completed.
Tareen also vowed to stand with the Awami Tehreek as long as the culprits of the Model Town carnage are not punished.
On this occasion, PT leader, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that though PTI and PAT differ from each other as far as their ways are concerned, yet both the parties have same goals to achieve.
Moreover, he said that those offering compensation of the martyrs of Model Town, should get this clear that we are not going make any deal on martyrs’ blood.
