ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Tuesday announced that it would hold countrywide protests on December 17 against the incumbent government.

As per plan, main arteries across the country would be blocked while PAT activists would also stage sit-ins in the cities.

PAT chief Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri would also deliver his speech on the said day.

It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has also given a call to shut down the entire country on December 18.
