PAT chief Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that those who have snatched rights from the people are culprits in the eyes of Allah Almighty and the Holy Prophet (SAW). He said that revolution is bound to come, adding that those promoting oppression, and secularism and the custodians of oppressive system will meet their logical end. He said that those who fight for truth cannot be defeated. He said that Yazid martyred the family members of the Holy Prophet (SAW) to save his rule but ended up earning universal condemnation and humiliation. He again emphatically stated that the sun of revolution will rise and the darkness of oppression will be eliminated.
Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri expressed these views while addressing a ceremony held to distribute medals among the injured and prisoners of revolution march in the Itikaf City. He said that the poor, labourers, farmers, and underprivileged sections of society constitute the rank and file of PAT and MQI, adding that these very people will bring about revolution in Pakistan which was achieved in the name of Islam where all citizens will have equality of rights and opportunities, and unhindered access to justice, education, and health facilities.
Dr Qadri said that some corrupt and secular elements want to confine the religious people to their Mosques so that they can loot and plunder this country without being held accountable or even questioned. He said that our struggle is subject to law of the land, Constitution of Pakistan and the teachings of the Quran and Sunna. He said that a minority of powerful people has enslaved the vast majority of masses politically, economically and socially. He said that it is everyone’s responsibility to struggle for getting rid of this slavery, adding that our revolution stands for riddance from every kind of slavery.
Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that disappointment is a ‘kufr’, adding that those people who believe and have conviction in their struggle do not get disappointed. He asked the residents of Itikaf City to accelerate the pace of their struggle for dominance of truth and elimination of every kind of oppression and exploitation. He said that in every age, only a small number of people are on the path of truth and these are the very people who are successful at the end.
Speaking with reference to martyrdom day of Hazat Ali (AS), Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the great Caliph was an embodiment of determination, knowledge, bravery, morality, gratitude and patience. He said that those who are struggling for dominance of truth should study the pious life of the Lion of Allah. He said that the Muslims are lucky that they have a personality of Hazrat Ali’s (AS) stature among them for their guidance and deliverance. He welcomed those present on becoming the part of Itikaf City from far and wide of the country and congratulated them on achieving the rare blessing of Itikaf.
