Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri to announce next course of action on June 17: PAT

PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur has said that the government that came into being as a result of rigging has lost its moral and constitutional right to stay on in power. He said that the Model Town tragedy is the worst example of arrogance and conceit. He said that a few families have enslaved the 190 million people. He said that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri will announce the next course of action in the protest on The Mall on June 17. He said that the blood of martyrs of Model Town will not go in vain. He said that Qisas of the martyrs will be taken.

Khurram Nawaz Gandapur expressed these views while talking to the heads of the administrative committees set up to make arrangements for the sit-in and reception of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri. He said that the Model Town tragedy is not political issue but one related to humanity. He said that the perpetrators of Model Town tragedy remain at large while the cases are being registered against the aggrieved and the oppressed. He said that we want to assure the families of the martyrs that the blood of their near and dear ones will not go to waste. The senior leadership of PAT was also present on the occasion.

The PAT Secretary General said that the political parties and the people have been invited on the single point agenda of protest against the rulers for their atrocities in the Model Town. He said that if their excesses were not stopped, it were MQI yesterday and it would be turn of any other party today. He said that the present rulers have established a kingship in the name of democracy. He said that except ruling PML-N, all political parties have been invited to the sit-in. He said whichever political or religious party we have gone to, it not only condemned the Model Town incident but also assure of their participation.

Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that had Parliament been effective, the rulers would not have made fun of ToRs and let it get dragged. He said that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri will arrive on the morning of June 15 where he would be accorded warm welcome.
