President of Awami Muslim League Sheikh Rashid Ahmad called on Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri at his residence in the Model Town today and discussed with him the matters of mutual interest. He assured the PAT Chairman of his participation in the sit-in of June 17. He said that Model Town tragedy is not the case of one political party but of every person who hates oppression and stands for justice. He said that 2016 will be the year of political demise of the rulers thanks to sanctity of blood of the martyrs of Model Town.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the rulers are on leave and the country is being run on the auto-pilot. He said that if a country’s foreign and internal policy has to be formulated by the military, what is the using of the government then? He said that justice in the Model Town case will pave the way for administration of justice to the week and the oppressed in the country.

Both leaders discussed prevailing political situation in the country. Khawaja Amir Fareed Koreja, Fayyaz Warraich, Basharat Jaspal, Noorullah Siddiqui and other leaders were present on the occasion.
