Senior PAT leaders, Basharat Jaspal, Fayyaz Warraich, Sardar Shakir Mazari, have said that PML-N is promoting culture of hooliganism and violence in the country. They said that handing over guns and sticks in the hands of workers is not the way of any democratic party. They said that media reports have proven Dr Qadri right again wherein he said that PML-N is not a democratic party as it believes in highhanded tactics against the political opponents. They said that the PML-N leadership has been involved in inflicting violence on thousands of the political workers and putting them behind bars illegally.
The PAT leaders said that when the nation wants answers to the questions of Panama and Model Town, the ruling party tries to spread terror by handing sticks and guns in the hands of its workers. They said that the PML-N wins elections on the basis of money and sustains it on the basis of naked power. They said that those in whose hands guns and sticks are being given have been trained by the proscribed organizations and the provincial Law Minister is the head of the militant wing. They said that the same gun- and stick-wielding elements are used for Qabza, exhortation, sale of drugs, and streets crimes.
They said that the Rangers are not being allowed to conduct operations in Punjab under a carefully calibrated strategy. They said that the leadership of the ruling party knows that once the Rangers get the permission of operation, then the news of recovery of illegal weapons and arrests of criminals will hit the headlines in the media. They said that those giving sticks and weapons in the hands of their workers are enemies of democracy and are fanning violence for their nefarious political objectives.
