PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur has said that the days of the rulers in power having fake mandate have been numbered. He said that there would be Qisas of the Model Town tragedy, adding that those responsible for taking innocent lives would be held answerable for their crimes. He said that Jeddah would not be destination of the corrupt rulers, adding that the rulers have compromised national security. He said that if the armed forces had not taken action on time, the handful of terrorists would have imposed themselves on the state. He said that PAT will continue to wage the political struggle for restoration of rights of the people.
Khurram Nawaz Gandapur expressed these views while talking to a PAT delegation from South Punjab led by Fayyaz Warraich, Saifullah Saddozai and Rao Arif Rizvi. He said that people’s rule will be established soon and those who filled their coffers with looted wealth will be held accountable. He said that the political struggle of PAT is for the sake of empowerment of the people. He said that the masses who have been bearing the brunt of wrong policies for last 68 years cannot endure the excesses by the ruling elite. He said that PAT’s struggle is legal, political and constitutional, adding that those who cannot fulfill the fundamental rights of the people have no right to stay in power. He said that the people of Pakistan stand with Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri and would take to streets on his call.
