PTI has assured PAT of its participation in the protest scheduled to be held on July 15. The leaders of both parties agreed to intensify Go Nawaz Go agenda while meeting in PAT central secretariat, Model Town, Lahore.

PTI leader and Punjab opposition leader, Mian Mahmood-ur-Rashid and Syed Samsam Ali Shah Bukhari met with PAT Secretary General, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur and other leaders in PAT central secretariat yesterday.

Speaking on the occasion, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that the resignation of corrupt and murderer rulers could set the things in right motion. He added that the Sharif brothers and their ministers were the killers of our martyrs. He said that it was tantamount to killing justice system that despite the passage of 3 years, the Justice Najafi Judicial Commission report has yet to be made public.

Mian Mahmood-ur-Rasheed, while speaking on the occasion, said that we extend our support to the martyrs of Model Town tragedy in their pursuit of justice. He observed that opposition should launch collective campaign for the resignation of prime minister. He suggested that All-Parties Conference could be instrumental in forging this alliance. We are contacting other political parties. He noted that PM Nawaz Sharif has been caught red-handed and it was need of time to intensify public pressure for his imprisonment.

He further added that Mian Shahbaz Sharif had abused his public officer and illegally transferred 3 sugar mills of family in cotton belt of South Punjab. Shahbaz Sharif was the main culprit of Model Town incident and we demand resignation of Shahbaz Sharif as well, he concluded.
